Go Loggers – ASUPS Official Blog

Find out what students are doing at Puget Sound. ASUPS is the student body government at the University of Puget Sound, and the central hub of campus life. There are many resources available, awesome events and numerous ways to get involved! So let us know if you have any questions!

ASUPS Media

Elements Magazine:

Elements is the biannual campus science magazine, written and produced entirely by students. Writers address a variety of topics- whatever their cardiac muscle desires! The magazine features everything from current research to satirical commentary (see the Allium section, Latin for ‘onion’). Writers, editors, and photographers are always welcome to join our staff!

Tamanawas Yearbook:

At the Tamanwas we seek to tell the stories of our campus. Through collecting photos of students doing what they love and the careful labor of our staff, our yearbook is transformed into a work of art and a synthesis of all things Puget Sound. We are thrilled to embrace this challenge once again in the coming year, and we look forward to sharing the results with all of you next spring.

The Trail:

http://trail.pugetsound.edu/

The Trail seeks to provide Puget Sound students, faculty, staff and the local community with a credible weekly newspaper that serves as a comprehensive source of information, entertainment and discourse relevant to its readership, as well as an archival record for the university. The Trail provides opportunities for students interested in journalism to develop direct experience in the creation and production of print and online news. In addition, The Trail serves as a link between Puget Sound and the greater Tacoma community and provides an open forum for student opinion and discourse within the university.
